Video Production in Gilbert, From Farm Town to Boom Town

Gilbert never bothered promoting itself to city. It is still legally a town, the largest incorporated one in the country, and it went from the Hay Shipping Capital of the World to a place where a Heritage District restaurant can outgrow its second location inside a year. That growth curve is exactly what Influence Studios films: founder stories, menu and product launches, recruiting content and social engines for businesses whose customers live ten minutes up Gilbert Road.

Why Gilbert

Local knowledge. National-grade craft.

Most Gilbert projects start on location, because Gilbert photographs well: grass-lined streets and grain silos in Morrison Ranch, a working farm and a 1950s Quonset hut at Agritopia, water on three sides of a house in Val Vista Lakes. Crews arrive with lighting, grip and sound, then footage goes straight into the Glendale post rooms for edit, color, sound and CGI. When a spot needs a controlled stage instead, the studio is 45 minutes west with a 2,000+ sq ft cyclorama, a 30x10 ft LED volume wall and three standing sets.

01

The Heritage District restaurant boom

A few walkable blocks of independent kitchens, patios and bars that live on video: seasonal menu drops, chef and founder stories, and the vertical clips that fill a Friday. One batch day on Gilbert Road can cover a quarter of social.

02

Healthcare and the Gateway corridor

Banner Gateway and Banner MD Anderson anchor a serious medical cluster, while Rivulon and the Gateway employment area off the 202 hold Deloitte, GoDaddy and Northrop Grumman offices. Patient stories, recruiting films and training libraries, with consent and releases handled in pre-production.

03

Family brands and the event calendar

Gilbert skews young and family-heavy, and the calendar shows it: Gilbert Days and the parade, the Fourth of July show at Gilbert Regional Park, club sports and dance seasons. Multi-cam coverage with recap edits back the same week.

Photography in Gilbert

Menus, families and listings, the three lanes Gilbert actually buys

Food first: Heritage District kitchens need menu, hero and delivery-app stills that hold up under a phone screen, shot on site so the plate is still hot. Then families, because Gilbert is built of them, and the portrait studio has five sets in one room including a motorized six-color seamless, a Victorian book wall, a 150 sq ft grass wall and a seasonally re-themed family set. Then property: Morrison Ranch shade and silos, Agritopia's farm frontage, Val Vista Lakes waterfront, all better at the right hour with a photographer who knows which hour that is. Add maker and product stills for the Barnone artisans and headshots for the Rivulon offices.

Shoot on location here, or bring it to the Glendale portrait studio: five standing sets including a motorised six-colour seamless wall, a Victorian book wall and a 150 sq ft grass wall, from $49/hr.

The studio anchors it

The stage behind every Gilbert shoot.

When the location won’t cooperate (heat, light, noise), production moves to our 10,000 sq ft Glendale facility: a 30 ft LED volume wall, a 2,000+ sq ft cyclorama stage, a podcast suite, and standing sets. Every space books by the hour, online.

Good to know

Gilbert questions, answered.

That is the normal request. We shoot before open or in the gap between services, small footprint, LED fixtures, nothing blocking a walkway or a fire exit, and we load in off the alley rather than fight Gilbert Road for parking. A menu piece plus a month of vertical clips usually fits in one morning.

Those are privately held locations, so it is a permission question, not an equipment one. We make the ask, provide the certificate of insurance and schedule around the farm and the tenants. If it does not come together, Morrison Ranch's tree-lined streets and the silos are the closest thing Arizona has to a Midwest backlot.

It does. The same team that shoots exotic cars put over $1,080,000 of annual revenue on a local home-service company in 10 months and lifted another client's Facebook reach by 30,600%. Studio spaces start at $49/hr, and plenty of Gilbert projects begin with one shoot day and a content calendar.
