Casa Grande Video Production on the I-10 Corridor
Crews in two different metros file Casa Grande under out of area, which is a strange fate for a city that exists because of where it sits. I-10 meets I-8 here, Phoenix and Tucson are each about an hour away, and a Union Pacific main line runs through the middle. That geography is the whole reason Abbott Nutrition makes PediaSure and Glucerna here, Frito-Lay runs a plant here, Hexcel lays up aerospace composites here, Kohler opened a manufacturing facility here, and two national distribution centers sit in the Industrial Corridor on the west side. An enormous amount of product gets made in Casa Grande. Very little of it gets filmed in Casa Grande.
Why Casa Grande
Local knowledge. National-grade craft.
This city has also learned what it costs to be described as a one-company town. Lucid cut 705 jobs at its Casa Grande plant in June 2026, and every supplier, contractor and Florence Street business around it still has to keep selling, which usually calls for recruiting films, service-line work and a social engine that keeps running rather than one glossy spot a year. The Glendale studio is 58 miles north, so productions down here get built as long single days instead of three short visits that each lose a morning to I-10. Edit, color, sound, motion graphics and CGI all happen on 57th Avenue, alongside a 30x10 ft LED volume wall the team calls the highest quality screen in Arizona and a 2,000+ sq ft cyclorama for the days a plant floor is the wrong backdrop.
Plant floors, and more than one of them
Abbott Nutrition, Frito-Lay, Hexcel and Kohler all run production here, with two national distribution centers in the Industrial Corridor west of town. Food and medical-nutrition plants carry rules most crews have never met: camera glass logged on the glass and brittle plastic register, smocks and hairnets on every body in the room, shots signed off before the sanitation window closes. Recruiting films, process films and product work get built around that, not against it.
Sacaton Street after dark
The Casa Grande Neon Sign Park at 408 North Sacaton Street is a block of restored vintage signs kept alive by Casa Grande Main Street, and it is the best practical light source in Pinal County. Night commercials, music videos and portrait sets shoot there, then move a few blocks to the 1922 Stone Warehouse on Florence Street and the 1927 Stone Church for period frames with no set dressing at all.
A resort a baseball owner built
Francisco Grande went up in 1959 on the Gila Bend Highway as the San Francisco Giants' spring home, ordered by owner Horace Stoneham, with a pool shaped like a baseball bat and a parking lot laid out like a catcher's mitt. Both still read from the air. Seven miles east of I-10, the Pinal Fairgrounds and Event Center on Eleven Mile Corner Road carries the Pinal County Fair every March and Cowboy Days and O'odham Tash, which Casa Grande has held for more than a hundred years.

Photography in Casa Grande
Stills that fit a shift schedule and a desert sunset
Two clocks set the photography here. The plants run around the clock, so headshot and team days get scheduled against shift change instead of the business day, and product and packaging stills are shot on the line or carried north to the cyc wall in Glendale. Everything else runs on Casa Grande's own light: senior portraits and quinceanera coverage at the Peart Trailhead on Casa Grande Mountain, where eighteen miles of trail open onto the valley floor, and evening sets under the restored signs on Sacaton Street. Builders and brokers get interiors, twilight exteriors and drone across Villago, Mission Royale and Arroyo Grande, and the bat-shaped pool at Francisco Grande earns the altitude on its own.
Shoot on location here, or bring it to the Glendale portrait studio: five standing sets including a motorised six-colour seamless wall, a Victorian book wall and a 150 sq ft grass wall, from $49/hr.

The studio anchors it
The stage behind every Casa Grande shoot.
When the location won’t cooperate (heat, light, noise), production moves to our 10,000 sq ft Glendale facility: a 30 ft LED volume wall, a 2,000+ sq ft cyclorama stage, a podcast suite, and standing sets. Every space books by the hour, online.
Good to know
Casa Grande questions, answered.
No, and it depends. The Hohokam great house sits about fifteen miles east in Coolidge despite the name, and it is a National Park Service unit, so commercial filming needs a special-use permit applied for well ahead of the shoot date. If your deadline will not survive that timeline, a four-story caliche silhouette against a Sonoran sky is exactly what the 30x10 ft LED volume wall in Glendale exists to put behind talent.
Yes, with permission from Casa Grande Main Street, the nonprofit that owns and maintains it. The signs are the light, so the plan is built around their color temperature rather than trying to overpower it, and the block is compact enough that a small package with a couple of negative fills beats a truck of fixtures. A late weeknight slot keeps foot traffic out of frame.
It is the year the pipeline gets thin, which is when the businesses that keep marketing take the share. Judge it on measured outcomes rather than production value: a Keller Williams group closed $9M in ninety days off video-led campaigns run by this team. Recruiting and service-line films that stay useful for two years are a better bet in a soft year than a single brand spot that dates in six months.
