Video Production Across Buckeye's 393 Square Miles

Buckeye's city limits cover 393 square miles and hold roughly 130,000 people, and that ratio is the whole story. This was the fastest-growing city in the United States in 2017, 2018 and 2021, Howard Hughes broke ground here on Teravalis (37,000 acres, 100,000 homes planned over the next fifty years), and the half of the map that is still empty is a location library nobody else in the metro has. Sun Valley Parkway runs four lanes of divided highway for miles past the White Tank Mountains with almost no cross streets on it. You cannot buy that inside the 101.

~35 min from Verrado Main Street, ~40 from downtown Buckeye: I-10 east, Loop 101 north, then Glendale Avenue east

Why Buckeye

Local knowledge. National-grade craft.

Influence Studios covers all of it from a nearly 10,000 sq ft facility in Glendale, about 35 minutes east on I-10. Buckeye is spread out enough that the drive inside the city can be longer than the drive to it, so shoot days get grouped by geography: Verrado and the White Tanks in one block, Monroe Avenue and the logistics buildings off SR-85 in another. Amazon has locked down a million square feet at Paloma Vista, Five Below ships out of a 1.2 million sq ft center here, and Burlington has broken ground on its own, all familiar ground for a crew whose client list includes Amazon, Microsoft and Ford. Edit, color, sound, motion graphics and CGI all finish in house.

01

Open desert, four lanes wide

Sun Valley Parkway is divided highway with almost nothing beside it, and Skyline Regional Park adds 8,700 acres of ridgeline in the southern White Tanks above Watson Road. That is where car films, tracking shots and big-sky brand work get made, by the crew behind Lamborghini, Ferrari and Rolls-Royce campaigns.

02

Verrado, Sun City Festival and Floreo are three different pitches

Verrado wraps a genuine town square at the Village Green with Main Street storefronts around it, Victory and Sun City Festival market to buyers over 55, and Floreo is the first village open at Teravalis. Lifestyle spots, sales-center loops and amenity tours built separately, because those three buyers share nothing.

03

A January rodeo and a February air show

Buckeye Days puts a cattle drive parade through downtown and the Helzapoppin' PRCA Rodeo into the Buckeye Equestrian & Events Center on Miller Road. Weeks later the Buckeye Air Fair draws more than 38,000 people onto the ramp at Buckeye Municipal Airport, free at the gate. Multi-cam coverage, sponsor cutdowns, recap edits inside the week.

Areas we shoot in Buckeye

On your street, not just in your city.

Crews work these Buckeye neighbourhoods and corridors regularly, so call sheets, parking and permits are a known quantity before the shoot day.

  • Verrado and its Main Street at the Village Green
  • Victory at Verrado
  • Festival Ranch and Sun City Festival
  • Sundance
  • Tartesso, out on Sun Valley Parkway
  • Sienna Hills
  • Teravalis and its first village, Floreo
  • Historic downtown along Monroe Avenue, the old US 80

Photography in Buckeye

Photography with a mountain range behind it

Buckeye's advantage is background. The ridgelines at Skyline Regional Park, the empty shoulders along Sun Valley Parkway and the White Tank faces standing over Verrado give portrait and automotive work a horizon the rest of the Valley has already paved. Commercial work runs alongside it: model-home interiors and twilight exteriors across Verrado, Sundance and Sienna Hills, facility and team stills inside the distribution buildings off SR-85, and senior portrait sessions for Verrado and Youngker High. July and August make an outdoor call time a bad idea, so those months move to the five indoor portrait sets in Glendale, including the Victorian book wall and a motorized six-color seamless, from $49/hr.

Shoot on location here, or bring it to the Glendale portrait studio: five standing sets including a motorised six-colour seamless wall, a Victorian book wall and a 150 sq ft grass wall, from $49/hr.

The studio anchors it

The stage behind every Buckeye shoot.

When the location won’t cooperate (heat, light, noise), production moves to our 10,000 sq ft Glendale facility: a 30 ft LED volume wall, a 2,000+ sq ft cyclorama stage, a podcast suite, and standing sets. Every space books by the hour, online.

Good to know

Buckeye questions, answered.

It is the best empty divided road in the metro, so yes. Rolling work on a public road gets cleared first with whoever owns that stretch, which out here is the City of Buckeye or Maricopa County depending on the mile, and the call sheet works around the cyclists who own that pavement at sunrise on weekends.

More than 38,000 people came through the 2026 edition at Buckeye Municipal Airport and admission is free, so the audience is broad rather than niche. Influence runs multi-cam on the ramp, pulls interviews away from engine noise, and hands back sponsor cutdowns the same week. February vendor slots fill early, so decide in the fall.

Drone first, CGI second. Progress passes flown on a fixed schedule turn graded pads into a time-lapse asset you own outright, and the in-house VFX team places buildings, streetscapes and signage onto plates of raw land so a sales center has something to show before the first slab pours. When a scene has to be fully controlled, it moves onto the 30 x 10 ft LED volume wall in Glendale.
