Video Production for Anthem and the North Valley

At 11:11 on the morning of November 11, sunlight passes through ellipses cut into five pillars in Anthem Community Park and lands as a single spotlight on a glass mosaic of the Great Seal of the United States. The Anthem Veterans Memorial gets that alignment once a year, for something under half a minute, and it does not wait for a crew that is still setting up. Anthem works like that in general: a Del Webb master plan from 1998 that grew into more than 10,000 homes across 5,920 acres, nearly 300 storefront businesses, and a calendar the rest of the North Valley drives up for. Influence Studios makes the films those moments actually deserve.

Why Anthem

Local knowledge. National-grade craft.

The Glendale facility is a nearly 10,000 sq ft building about 30 minutes south, straight down I-17 and west on the Loop 101, which puts it closer to Anthem Way than most of Scottsdale is. That matters because work up here is rarely one big production. It is a founder interview, a walkthrough of the shop, and a quarter of social cuts, all banked in a single day and finished in-house through edit, color, sound design and motion graphics. When something needs a controlled stage, the 30x10 ft LED volume wall the team calls the highest quality screen in Arizona, the 2,000+ sq ft cyclorama and the sound-treated podcast suite are half an hour away, with single spaces from $49/hr.

01

A freeway runs through the permit map

Anthem Parkside west of I-17 sits inside Phoenix city limits, the Country Club side east of it is unincorporated Maricopa County, and Community Park, the 15 miles of trails and the streetscapes between them are HOA common area covered by the Anthem Community Council's own film and photography permit. Three different desks, all called in pre-production rather than discovered on shoot morning.

02

Retail that pulls the whole North Valley off the freeway

Outlets North Phoenix on West Anthem Way, still the Anthem outlets to everyone who lives here, runs more than 60 brand stores and raises the tallest Christmas tree in the state every November. Anthem Marketplace on the northeast corner of Anthem Way and Gavilan Peak Parkway is where the Safeway-anchored local trade sits. Retail spots, seasonal campaigns and owner-to-camera pieces that make a storefront feel like a neighbor.

03

Sixty-three acres of civic backdrop

Anthem Community Park carries an amphitheater, a 14,000 sq ft skate park, four acres of catch-and-release lakes and the Daisy Mountain Railroad running 2,800 ft of track, and Anthem Days fills all of it with a carnival and a business expo each spring. Multi-camera coverage, sponsor content and same-week recap edits, with the park's reservation calendar cleared first.

Photography in Anthem

Portraits at 1,864 feet, where the season runs longer

Anthem sits roughly 800 feet above central Phoenix, and that elevation buys real degrees in June plus a couple of usable weeks on either end of portrait season. On location it means family sessions at the Community Park lakes, senior portraits with Daisy Mountain and Gavilan Peak behind them, roster and team work for Boulder Creek High School, and listing photography along the Persimmon and Ironwood fairways inside the Country Club. Indoors it means headshots on a motorized six-color seamless for the medical, legal and real-estate suites on Anthem Way, plus the five-set portrait studio in Glendale (Victorian book wall, 150 sq ft grass wall) for the weeks the desert refuses to cooperate.

Shoot on location here, or bring it to the Glendale portrait studio: five standing sets including a motorised six-colour seamless wall, a Victorian book wall and a 150 sq ft grass wall, from $49/hr.

The studio anchors it

The stage behind every Anthem shoot.

When the location won’t cooperate (heat, light, noise), production moves to our 10,000 sq ft Glendale facility: a 30 ft LED volume wall, a 2,000+ sq ft cyclorama stage, a podcast suite, and standing sets. Every space books by the hour, online.

Good to know

Anthem questions, answered.

Like live sport, with everything locked off before the crowd arrives and a walkthrough the day before. The solar spotlight lands between 11:10:58 and 11:11:22, so coverage runs a locked wide, long glass on the Great Seal mosaic, a roaming operator on veterans and families, and clean audio pulled from the ceremony feed. The memorial also takes event reservations through the Anthem Community Council, which is a conversation to start weeks out.

It depends which side of I-17 you are standing on. Parkside west of the interstate is City of Phoenix, everything east is unincorporated Maricopa County, and any shoot touching Anthem's parks, trails or common areas needs the Anthem Community Council's film and photography permit on top of that. Private property, your own suite or a Country Club home with the owner's sign-off, is far simpler. All of it gets sorted before a call sheet goes out.

With the homeowner or the club arranging it, yes. This is a private community of roughly 2,850 homes behind guarded gates, and nobody waves through a truck with no paperwork. Vehicle and crew lists go ahead of the shoot, the footprint stays small, and the Persimmon and Ironwood corridors get shot early before tee times back up behind us.
